My dad's birthday is on St. Patricks Day and he LOVES to have a blueberry pie instead of a traditional cake. This year I made him one with a Lucky Shamrock to give him good luck taking off the weigh once he ate this!

Good things come to those who wait?

The Girly Grease Monkey in me bought a set of brake pads last November right when it got really cold, so I decided to wait till it was warmer to install. So in April, the rotor totally needed to be replaced!
Mike had no idea I was so handy when he married me.
(I thought the pipe wrench in background gave the picture a little extra something :0))

I know how to weld, solder and use an angle grinder
so I decided to make my mom this:
a Trivet in the shape of a Pear.

It all began with a Kansas girl...
