Memorial for Grandma and Grandpa T...

Sent to me by mom:
"I wanted you to see this. It is at the Village Presbyterian Church. Steve has been working on this project for quite some time. It is in the "Chapel in the Pines" behind the church. My Dad was one of the ones who created this space. Early morning worship services were held there regularly. The placques are the latest and final addition to the project. This is where Dad and I were married along with Louise and John, Steve and Jenny....all in the main church. Tom and Anie were in the chapel in the pines. love, mom"

What's in a name...

My sister in Colorado posted this on our family site and I thought I would share

"We were on the topic of the naming of twins this evening. It occurred to the kids that some parents choose to name their twins with names that rhyme or names that start with the same letter. Julia thought about this and then piped in with

'Gosh, Grandma and Grandpa could have named Kelly and Shannon: Kelly and Kannon or how about Shannon and Silly'

We had a good chuckle."
